The Middleton community has given so much to my family over the many generations we've called it home. That's something I've never taken for granted, and it's why I have always felt a responsibility to give back.

During my junior year of high school, like so many families, my education and daily life were disrupted by COVID-19. At the time, the Masconomet Regional School Committee conducted a survey showing that roughly 75% of parents wanted their children to return to in-person learning safely. Despite that, the district remained remote by a vote of 10-1.

To me, that was a turning point. It felt like the voices of our community weren't being fully heard or represented. And I believed we could, and should, do better.

So I got involved.

I began attending every school committee meeting, speaking during public comment, and taking the time to truly understand the issues facing our schools and our community. I committed myself to the principles I believe should guide public service: transparency, accountability, and integrity.

When I felt prepared to serve effectively, I decided to step forward and run for the school committee. Since being elected, I've worked to carry those same principles into every decision, always focused on representing the people of Middleton and doing what's right for our community.

Now, I'm running for State Representative because I believe those same values are needed on Beacon Hill. My experience mirrors what we're seeing today, when 72% of Massachusetts voters supported auditing the Legislature, their voices deserved to be respected, not ignored. At the same time, the state is taking legal action against towns like Middleton that voted against MBTA zoning changes, undermining local decision-making.
